We are seeking young people interested in becoming a Czech Queen, Princess or Prince to represent the Nebraska Czechs of Lincoln with the possibility of winning cash and prizes.

Do you or someone you know want to be a cultural ambassador for the Czech/Slovak people of Nebraska?

A new Nebraska Czechs of Lincoln Queen will be crowned at the Lincoln Czech Festival the first Sunday in May.   Her reign will represent Lincoln for a one-year term.   In June, the following year, the Queen will then compete in the Miss Nebraska Czech-Slovak Queen Pageant (for a 1 year term) in Clarkson, Nebraska, for an opportunity to win $200-800 in cash and prizes, plus an additional $200 scholarship.   If she wins the Nebraska title, she will then go on to compete in the Miss Czech-Slovak US Queen Pageant (for a 1 year term) the following year, in early August, in Wilber, Nebraska.   The Miss Czech-Slovak US Pageant awards over $10,000 in scholarships/awards to the cultural ambassadors competing in America’s most colorful ethnic pageant!

The Princess & Prince terms are for one year from the time of crowning at the Lincoln Czech Festival, the first Sunday in May of that year.   They also have the opportunity to earn money, crown or hat and sash.
